Information Technology Leadership
Mark King, Chief Information Officer
Mark King is Chief Information Officer for the Gulf Coast Division of Nashville, TN based HCA Healthcare. Mark develops and leads the technology strategy and manages IT tactical operations for physicians, caregivers, hospitals and free-standing surgery centers in the Houston, Corpus Christi and Rio Grande Valley markets in Texas.
During his career with HCA Healthcare, Mark has held various leadership roles of increasing complexity and responsibility, most recently the Director of Imaging Systems and Director of Application Services. Mark was named CIO in July of 2014.
A healthcare industry veteran, prior to joining HCA Healthcare, Mark spent time with Fujifilm Medical Systems USA.
Mr. King holds an undergraduate degree in Healthcare Administration from The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston and is an HCA Healthcare Emerging Leader.
